Prayer Against Coronavirus

The prayer below was written by my friends from Aslan's Place.

See it here: Prayer Against Coronavirus It is below as well.

We have permission to pass this along to others.

So I want to share with all my friends and family because this is an excellent prayer to pray. I prayed this with and over my family. But before you pray it, I want to clarify some things about prayer that I feel are important.

1. It’s not magic, because God doesn’t do magic. He does relationships and miracles. Sometimes miracles lead to relationships and sometimes relationships lead to miracles. He allows in His wisdom what he can easily prevent by His power.

2. Pray WITH God, not TO God. There are many examples in scripture that reveal that Jesus and the Holy Spirit are praying for us. Luke 22, John 17, Romans 8, Hebrews 7, 1 John 2. Have you ever known Jesus to STOP doing something? He LIVES to pray and intercede for us as He sits next to the Father in Heaven. Don't you want to know what He is praying and join Him?

Here is a great book to get you started in praying differently: Crafted Prayer

3. When Jesus prayed, He was simply talking and listening with His Father. Then He obeyed. That is all we are to do. We like to talk and ask a lot. Many times we ask for something Jesus has already answered or given us. Have you ever asked or prayed for God to give you peace in a stressful situation? I have. But I do not ask or pray that anymore, because I realized Jesus already answered that prayer a long time ago. I shifted my asking into LISTENING and praying more into THANKSGIVING.

Now on to this crafted prayer!

It is not a quick fix, but a starting place for our freedom in Jesus. My son asked me, “why can’t we just pray for the Coronavirus to die? Why all the words in this prayer?” I thought about that a lot. Then a picture of a problem at my house came to mind.

I had a family of rats 🐀 find their way into my back yard and make a home. Although they saw me and ran from my presence, and I “told” them to leave, they still stuck around and only came out at night to chew up stuff, and brought fear into our family household.

The evidence of rat droppings remained. I cleaned up the garbage, set traps, and was intentional at removing these unwanted pests in our yard. I got them all I thought. But one was clever. He never took the bait in the trap for weeks. Then I changed the bait and finally got rid of the last clever holdout.

So this picture represents for me why it’s important to craft prayers specifically using certain words. The enemy looks for many ways into our lives to steal, kill and destroy. I see them as doorways. We can actually open doors for the enemy to harass us by not getting rid of the garbage in our lives.

In our soul and spirit, we can have lots of garbage such as bitterness, unforgiveness, harbored anger, self-hatred, anxiety, fearfulness, worrying, etc. Our parents, grandparents and all our ancestry can and have opened doors for the enemy to have access to stop us and hinder our progress as free people. Just like the rats are attracted to the garbage in our homes to feed on, the enemy is drawn to the garbage in our mind, spirit, body, and soul to feed on.

The people at Aslan's Place have spent time and energy to develop a ministry to really deal with freedom and healing. They are intentional and can teach and help us get rid of the "rats" in our lives.

It’s makes me think of shining a bright flashlight on those rats and making them run. The light of Jesus causes the enemy to flee. We point Him in every direction of our lives to make even the clever rats run and get trapped.

I love the last line from their site as you pray this: "These prayers are not a quick fix. Instead, they are starting points as you work out your freedom in Christ. Be ready to adjust these prayers as you and those you pray with, listen to the Holy Spirit."

Because the enemy doesn't play fair or by the rules or here is what I heard the Holy Spirit say to me that I should add for my own adjustments: In the name of Jesus, we forbid any and all coronavirus cells and invaders to transform, change, or mutate. In the process of fleeing and leaving our bodies, we forbid the coronavirus to leap or jump on others, be it those weaker in the faith or pre-believers. But INSTEAD to die completely whether fighting against us or retreating as a result of this prayer. Amen!

So, feel free to pray this if you feel led.
Lastly, be encouraged with this from Roman 8: 37-39
37 Yet even in the midst of all these things, we triumph over them all, for God has made us to be more than conquerors, and his demonstrated love is our glorious victory over everything!
38 So now I live with the confidence that there is nothing in the universe with the power to separate us from God’s love. I’m convinced that his love will triumph over death, life’s troubles, fallen angels, or dark rulers in the heavens. There is nothing in our present or future circumstances that can weaken his love. 39 There is no power above us or beneath us—no power that could ever be found in the universe that can distance us from God’s passionate love, which is lavished upon us through our Lord Jesus, the Anointed One!

Prayer Against Coronavirus

Print Friendly, PDF & Email
Father, I come before You to renounce and repent for my generational line and myself for all of us who have opened the door to the Coronavirus and/or any other viral epidemic or pandemic through fear.  Lord, I acknowledge Your truth that:
  • Your perfect love casts out all fear,[1] but there have been times when we have not trusted in that love
  • Your sacrifice on the cross is sufficient for our healing[2]
  • You have told us to not be afraid because You are with us[3]
  • Satan’s agenda is to create fear in order to cause destruction[4] and pre-empt Your righteous agenda to establish Your kingdom on earth as it is in heaven[5]
Lord Jesus, please cause Your blood to encapsulate every cell in my body on the physical, soul and spirit levels. Please set a watch, and:
  • Guard every vulnerable opening into my body, soul, and spirit, reaching all the way down to the cellular and subcellular levels
  • Cause my nasal, oral, and ocular openings to be hostile to the coronavirus presence, such that every virion would die in those openings before it can enter my body
  • Cause any coronavirus that has entered my body to be rejected by my body; cause my cells to be hostile toward infection, such that all cell receptors bar acceptance, reception, and subsequent infection
  • Block the receptors on my cells so that the coronavirus cannot recognize where to latch on
In the name of Jesus and by the power of His blood, I forbid the virus from landing on any cell receptor and the viral membranes from fusing with my cell membranes.
I ask that you, Lord, would dissolve the spikes that make up the crown of the virus, which is necessary for infection as it attempts to enter my body system.  Please de-crown the coronavirus on entry into my body system and activate my immunity to remove its remnants.
Lord, please cause my immune system to recognize the coronavirus and not be fooled by any viral mechanism that shields the virus from detection.
I forbid the ribosomes in my cells from replicating and/or translating coronavirus RNA.
I thank You, Lord Jesus, for your everlasting protection and love. I speak life and health to my body, soul, and spirit, and I claim Your promise that:
You will not fear the terror of the night nor the arrow that flies by day,  nor the pestilence that stalks in darkness, nor the destruction that wastes at noonday.  A thousand may fall at your side,  ten thousand at your right hand, but it will not come near you. You will only look with your eyes and see the recompense of the wicked. Because you have made the Lord your dwelling place—the Most High, who is my refuge—no evil shall be allowed to befall you, no plague come near your tent.[6]
I also declare healing to every physical and spiritual area over which God has given me authority; I declare that the coronavirus will cease and desist, for it must submit to the blood of Jesus.
Lord, please heal and protect me and all in my family line from the effects of all strains of coronavirus, including COVID-19.

My First Blog Post

My First Blog Post Wow, that took some time to set up. But it looks like I am in and ready to write. I have been writing various formats for years, but not sharing them with really anybody but a few friends. So the purpose really of setting up a blog is two-fold: I am participating in the Dan McGuire Blog Challenge through the Writers of Kern group. I'm taking the challenge to kickstart getting my writing out there. Second, I hope my writings can bring encouragement, enlightenment, teach, and promote love in the lives of anybody who reads my writings. So, what are my X Files, Writings, and Stories? X Files These are files I have collected mostly about myself. Words spoken to me by the Spirit of God, and People. These can be in the form of other writings, voices, dreams, visions, and prophecy. These are personal to me, but I may share some from time to time. Writings - These are my processes from which I will attempt to put into the words you will read that i
Shooting Blanks - Rest as a Weapon By Dewey Compton February, 2019 blog Have you ever considered the possibility that our adversaries are shooting blanks when they attack us? What if when we believe their lie, we re-arm the lie making it a damaging weapon? But Jesus “disarmed” the enemy.   (“Then Jesus made a public spectacle of all the powers and principalities of darkness, stripping away from them every weapon and all their spiritual authority and power to accuse us. And by the power of the cross, Jesus led them around as prisoners in a procession of triumph. He was not their prisoner; they were his! Colossians 2:15 TPT”) I asked the Holy Spirit about this one day. Obviously, the enemy is doing damage on the Earth. How could he be disarmed? Then this thought came to my mind: “He is shooting blanks.”   Immediately I was taken back in my memory to an experience I had while spending a week with the US Marines in San Diego, CA. We were standing by a tank listening to a weapons speciali

Mostly Dead is Slightly Alive

The Art of Dying by Dewey Compton "The old You is dead already. Embrace the real you by ignoring the old you." So what's on my mind?   Death! Here is another one of my favorite movies - The Princess Bride. I was in the shower this morning and listening to music and for some reason, I started conversing in my mind with HS about the beauty and freedom of death. Death can be looked at in many different ways and most people look at the negative side.  I find this topic very fascinating and more discussion needed today. Let me explain.  I remember in science class that a seed must go into the ground, die and then a completely new thing rises out of the ground called a plant. This plant is entirely different from the seed. One had to die in order for the other to live. This is the same with us.  Old things in us must die in order for us to truly live. Now for many, it happened when they first became a believer in Jesus. We died to our old self, o
